The Intersection of Silicon and Fire

THE DIALOGUE

This artwork is a dialogue between structured logic and unruly fire. Emerging from a career in financial management, my focus has shifted from complex data systems to the uncharted mysteries of metallurgical alchemy.

The work exists at the crossroads where professional precision encounters the realm of Kandinsky's "inner necessity." Beyond this place, there be dragons!

Chaos & Control

Before the torch is fired, neural sketching on a high-performance NVIDIA RTX workstation simulates light, shadow, and kinetic form. Through node-based workflows, a digital laboratory stress-tests highly conceptual artifacts, pushing "forbidden" colors and geometries.

Utilizing a precision hydrogen-oxygen torch that splits water into it's fundamental chemical elements, the metal's molecular structure is catalyzed to arouse iridescent oxide blooms. At it's thermal peak, copper enters a state of high-entropic flux, where order is fashioned by imposing a deliberate material presence.

THE GOAL

The objective is to evoke elemental wonder. Whether through the quiet rotation of a kenetic mobile or the dimentional relief of a wall sculpture, the work captures the tension between the calculated and the spontaneous.

In a digital age, the most profound beauty is still unearthed through the ancient, haptic struggle of hand, heat, and metal. By integrating natural minerals, crystals, and dichroic glass with "fire-painted" copper, these objects remain grounded in physics yet elevated by the supernatural.

Building more than sculptures—
engineering experiences in light and motion.
